The purpose of the society is to develop students' interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math through robotics competitions and other projects. Robotics competitions develop leadership and skills in team effectiveness, and develop a community of excited learners. BAIUST Robotics Society (BARS) provides a place where all students, especially those with an inclination for technology, can thrive. We hope to inspire students who never thought they could do this kind of work, and to encourage students to explore career alternatives. Students Learn: *Teamwork *Leadership *Engineering/Product Design *Problem Solving, Strategy *Development of Algorithms *Self Confidence *Career opportunities

The vision of BAIUST Robotics Society (BARS) is to introduce students with the fields of robotics. With proper guidance and training, the society aims to impart the students with advanced robotics and machine design.

BAIUST Robotics Society (BARS) is a community of students who derive pleasure in creating mechanical peers that may even be potent to work without human intervention. Each member of this family is provided mechanical, production, electronic, and informatory aid besides the indispensable guidance of experienced members. The objective of the Robotics Society will be to support and foster interest in various aspects related to robotics; in particular, mechanical design and algorithm building. The society will cater to the interests of hobbyists and beginners in robotics, as well as of seniors who may be involved in professional design. The society will also extend support to the participants of robotics-related competitions that are held at all over the country.
